Croatian  government will announce international bid  on next Thursday, 16th  of July, and  invite tenders for the privatization of six 'national' shipyards , said State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship  Mr.Leo Begovic.

As he explained , Managements of all  shipyards  sent proposals for  agreement on compensation for the separation of maritime real estate from  yards capital,  and the agreements  could be signed until next Thursday.

Begovic said that Croatian government during  the process of privatization will  protect the shipyards from entering speculative capital and  keep shipbuilding sector  to fulfill obligations under the European Commission and to maintain all the 12 thousand jobs.
