Delivery of MT Uzava at 3. Maj Shipyard |

Today, 30 January 2008, Latvian Shipping Co. fleet has been expanded with another newly built tanker. The delivery of the eighth newbuildings ordered by LASCO took place at 3. Maj shipyard in Rijeka, Croatia.
The role of the ship’s Godmother was entrusted to Ms. Ilva Purena, Member of JSC Latvijas kuģniecība Management Board. Presently JSC Latvijas kuģniecība fleet comprises 38 product tankers carrying petroleum products, easy chemicals, oils and other liquid cargoes, 2 LPG carriers, 5 reefer vessels and 1 Ro-Ro/general type vessel.
